S.T.E.P. Inc.'s After School program offers year-long homework assistance and tutoring to middle and high school students. Study habits, organizational and time management skills are reinforced. The program is staffed by middle and high school certified teachers.

• Days: Monday-Thursday (No after school classes on Friday)


• Hours: Tucker Middle School 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  (Late Fee Charge of $1.00 per minute for pick-ups after 6:15 p.m.)

S.T.E.P. Inc. operates in accordance with the DeKalb Schools calendar, including inclement weather and emergency school closings.

Dismissal Note Specific To High School Students

Students will be formally dismissed by a STEP on-site administrator at 6:00 PM. However if a high school students’ work has been completed, they may sign out. Parental guidance is advised! Remaining quietly in the Media Center until 6:00 to read and study is an option. Please add an additional $10 per day for pick-up after 6:00.
